This was a fundraiser I happily watched from the sidelines. F45 at Keperra hosted the Playoffs last year with all funds raised going directly to the Harlie Russell Foundation.
The Playoffs was open to anyone willing to take up the challenge. The F45 gym at Keperra was set up with 10 stations which competitors would spend only 45 seconds at each with a 15 second rest between exercises. This didn't seem all that terrifying until Harlie and I watched the first round sweat it out. My body hurt just watching them push through the longest 10 minutes of their life.
But, in the end, everyone enjoyed themselves and if I'm completely honest, I kind of wished I had joined in.
Jackie and the team at F45 kindly donated every dollar from the Playoffs to help Harlie get to America for SDR surgery. Apart from raising quite the sweat, the night raised $500 for Harlie's cause.
We have been so fortunate to have many local businesses support Harlie on her journey and would like to thank Jackie and the F45 team for their kind donation.
